Low maintenance inline stabilizer dampers or better called "low maintenance flow- through suction stabilizer ”, are typically installed on the suction port of API 674 or API 675 pumps and usually coupled with BHP series spherical resonators installed at the delivery port.

The HGV series is used instead of normal bladder or diaphragm dampers with the following advantages:
1. A complete customization, depending on the customer's request or project specifications.
2. Any breakage of the bag / bellows does not compromise operation as the useful volume of fluid guarantees its correct functionality.
3. It is a damper useful to stabilize the flow and the suction pressures to the pumps, where there are high pressure drops, high vapor tensions and very low NPSHa.

The construction materials can be customized and depend on the pumped fluid and the specifications of the end user; FOX standard is AISI 316 L stainless steel but they can also be built in: DSS (Duplex Stainless Steel), SDSS (Super Duplex Stainless Steel), Alloy-20, Hastelloy-C and painted carbon steel, according to the procedure FOX standard suitable for use in marine environments, corrosive or painted according to user specifications.
Elastomers are available in NBR, HNBR, EPDM, FPM, HYTREL, Butyl, Polyurethane, PTFE.
The volumes of liquid are available up to 5,000 liters; FOX always suggests sharing all necessary information so that you can select the most suitable volume for your pump.

The process connections (inlet & outlet flanges) are customized according to the customer's request, as well as the position of the same. The standard is 180 ° but an angle of 90 ° can be provided for the output flange.
The same level of customization is also on the vents and drains, by our standard including blind counterflange. We can also include any blind counter flanges with relative linkage, bolts and spiral wound gaskets, based on the required process flange (RF or RTJ).
Mechanical life: the number of cycles is inversely proportional to the increase in the compression ratio. For use as a damper, the pre-charge pressure must be between 60% and 80% of the working pressure in consideration of the type of pump and the temperature value.
